Introducing Stories

Where to publish announcements about your products or services is not always obvious. Maybe you have a blog, but then not every announcement actually fits the editorial direction of the blog. Or, maybe you would like to publish something once in a while, but don't want to get into the trouble of setting up, designing and maintaining a publishing platform.

That's why we're introducing Stories. With Stories, you can easily publish posts on your Help Center to complement your knowledge base without having to worry about anything else than the actual content.

Use Stories to publish anything that's relevant to your products and services -- product updates, news, opinions, tips & tricks or announcements -- without the rigidity of the knowledge base. Stories don't have to be categorized, they're simply ordered by date and displayed as a news feed.

Stories will appear in search too, so it's a great way to make the Help Center more useful over time.

We're of course making Stories optional and the module can be disabled, just as we're now making the knowledge base module optional too. Making the knowledge base optional means it's possible to get started with a Help Center simply by writing a few useful stories.

This is our first step in going beyond just the knowledge base and we hope you'll enjoy publishing Stories.
