A welcome message is an introduction paragraph that can be displayed above a section's home content. In the screenshot below, the "Hi! How can we help?" part is a welcome message:

1. Head to Knowledge Base and click Preferences for one of your sections.

2. Go to Info

Under Section's Homepage, make sure the Display a welcome message on the section's home toggle is active and write your welcome message there.
